    Every other Monday, starting August 11th - September 22nd, Memphis’ boldest poets step into the spotlight, battling in a high-energy, tournament-style slam for a weekly cash prize with the biggest cash prize coming in the Word Clash Grand Championship. The stakes are real, the verses are raw, and the crowd decides who reigns supreme.

    But The Word Clash isn’t only about competition—it’s about community. Alongside the slam, our open mic welcomes poets, storytellers, and first-timers to share their truth in a space that’s as healing as it is electric.
